HOW IT'S DONE

C.L. Fisheries is excited to bring our passion for fresh salmon to your table. As an owner-operator, I take pride in making sure the product is the highest quality possible.

 

It all starts in the little town of Homer, at the end of the Kenai Peninsula. From the end of June through early August, we harvest Sockeye Salmon in the Upper Cook inlet.

 

Each fish is bled by hand, then placed in to slush ice. That same day it is brought back to Homer and processed by Homer Fish Processing, a local, family owned, licensed processor who hand fillets each individual fish.

 

The fillets are then immediately vacuum sealed and flash frozen in their -20 degree blast freezer to ensure the highest quality.
